Job Title: Full-Time Fixed Term Maternity Cover Visual Merchandising Assistant
Closing Date: Wednesday 8th February 2012

You will manage the visual proposition within Downtown Boston, where you will be required to work closely with the Store Manager and Head Office when planning new store layouts, implementing and identifying creative visual solutions and maintaining a strong commercial awareness in your marketplace both on schedule and within budget.

You will be responsible for ensuring that merchandising presentation standards and attention to detail are of the highest calibre

Essential requirements for this role are that you have previous experience in a Visual Merchandising role, preferably in a retail environment.

You should possess good I.T. skills. A good working knowledge of Mac and ‘Illustrator’ would be beneficial.

You will be working 38.75 hours per week on varying shifts over five days between Sunday and Saturday. You should be able to offer a flexible approach to working hours.

Downtown Superstore, Grantham


Job Title: Full-Time Sales Assistants

We are looking for enthusiastic assistants to complement our current Sales teams on the Electrical and Furniture departments in Downtown Grantham.

You should have good sales experience with a keen interest in the Electrical and Furniture products on offer. You should be well presented, possess excellent customer service skills, be literate, numerate and able to handle any administration required.

Previous experience in a similar retail environment would be beneficial.

You will be working 36 ¼ hours per week on varying shifts over five days between Sunday and Saturday, including regular evenings and weekends. You should be able to offer a flexible approach to working days and times.

Job Title: Part-Time Weekend Sales Assistant
Closing Date: Wednesday 8th February 2012

We are looking to recruit Sales people who are passionate about selling and can demonstrate a keen interest in the range of furniture and electrical goods on offer at Downtown Grantham.

You should be well presented, have proven sales experience in a similar environment and possess excellent customer service skills. Whilst the main focus will be on the customer, candidates are required to be PC literate and confident when dealing with any administration required.

You will be working 12 hours per week on varying shifts, normally every Saturday and Sunday. It would be advantageous if you are able to offer a flexible approach to working times/days and be available to work additional hours and alternative days if required, including during school / college holiday periods and on Bank Holidays.

You will ideally have a sound knowledge of Plants and Gardening and be able to offer our customers a great shopping experience.

You should be numerate, PC literate and able to handle administration. Previous experience in a similar environment would be beneficial.

Hours will be 25 per week, worked on varying shifts over five days out of seven between Sunday and Saturday, including regular evenings and weekends. You should have a flexible approach to working times and be available to work additional hours if required.
