Outdoor Plants
|
Many people will now be thinking of their holidays and looking forward to sitting back and enjoying the garden. But do not relax too much as there are jobs that need doing to ensure that all is well. It is at this time of year with the increasing temperatures that pests and diseases can soon take hold in the garden and make your plants look less appealing. This is especially true with roses. If you are able to spot the problem early you can often correct it without needing to resort to chemicals. If a few leaves show signs of disease then these can be picked off and disposed of, as is also the case with pest attacks. If you keep plants well watered and fed during their active growing period then they will be more able to resist any problems, this is very important with newly planted ones. A visit to the garden centre at this time of year will show you all the plants in their full glory and will allow you to make the right choice as to which will suit your needs. |
