Head Office, Boston


Job Title: Full Time Merchandise Planners Head Office Boston
closing Date: Friday 10th April 2015

We have an exciting opportunity for two experienced Merchandise Planners to join our Buying and Merchandising team. Based in Boston and working in the Home and Gift division, you will deliver sales and profitability by managing and optimising the ranges through effective pre-season planning and in-season trading.

Key responsibilities of the roles include:
• Controlling stock levels by creating WSSI plans and forecasts for sales, stock and OTB and related intake.
• Managing the intake by effectively managing the supply base
• Planning department space and controlling options – ranged and bought.
• Producing range level analysis and comparisons to LY and plan.
• Supporting range planning, working alongside the Buyer to agree options counts, line ROS and volumes are within OTB limits.
• Managing markdowns and promotions, owning and controlling the net achieve margin
• Analysing weekly sales and stocks along with ROS data, to manage the replenishment of continuity lines and bestsellers.
• Driving the SPF and PPF performance of departments by analysing space and proposing actions.
• Managing and developing the Buying and Merchandising Assistant.

You will have a minimum of three years’ experience in a head office merchandising role, working alongside buyers, as well as experience of running your own department. You will have the ability to analyse data, work under pressure to meet deadlines, and work both on your own initiative and as part of a team. Good IT skills and proficiency in the use of MS Excel are a must, as is a full driving licence, as multi-site travel is a requirement of the role. Job Title: Fixed-Term Sunday Café Assistants Oldrids Boston
closing Date: Monday 30th March 2015

To support the Sunday opening of our exciting new Café Culture outlet, we are looking for two enthusiastic assistants to join the Restaurant team at our Oldrids Boston store for a fixed term of up to 6 months.

You should be well presented, literate, numerate and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service, selling and communication skills.

Duties will primarily be customer service but will also include basic food preparation, till work, stock replenishment and general housekeeping duties.

You will be working either 3 or 6 hours per week on varying shifts, normally every Sunday. You should be able to offer a flexible approach to working times and be available to work additional hours and alternative days if required, including during school / college holiday periods and on Bank Holidays.

Job Title: Part-Time Restaurant Assistant Oldrids Boston

We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic part-time assistant to join the Restaurant team in our Oldrids Boston store.

You should be well presented, literate, numerate and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service, selling and communication skills.

Duties will primarily be customer service but will also include basic food preparation, till work, stock replenishment and general housekeeping duties.

You will be working 23.75 hours per week on varying shifts over 5 days between Sunday and Saturday, including regular weekends and occasional evenings. It is important that you are able to offer a flexible approach to working days and times and are available to work during school and college holidays and on Bank Holidays. You should also be available to work additional hours as required.

Job Title: Full-Time Sales Assistant Electrical Departments

We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic assistant to join the Sales team at our Downtown Boston store.

Working primarily between all Electrical departments in a role which focuses very much on sales, you should be able to demonstrate a keen interest in the products on offer as well as excellent customer service and selling skills. You will be required to work on other departments as necessary.

You should be well presented, literate, numerate and confident when dealing with any administration required. Previous experience gained in a similar role would be beneficial.

Hours will be 36.25 per week, worked on varying shifts over 5 days out of 7 between Sunday and Saturday, including regular evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays. Job Title: Full-Time HGV Class C Driver Downtown Boston
Closing Date:Thursday 9th April 2015

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic person to join our Distribution team at our Downtown Boston store.

You will be working as part of the delivery team as a Driver, offering a prompt, efficient and courteous service to customers throughout our delivery area.

It is essential that you have a full, clean driving licence and hold an up-to-date CPC. Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial.

You should also have an up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations relating to manual handling. Stock movement – some of which may be very bulky – is a main requirement of the role when delivering to customers’ premises.

You should be well presented, possess excellent customer service skills, be literate, numerate and able to deal with all administrative aspects of the role in line with Company policy. You may also be required to cover warehouse duties such as product handling of goods in / out and stock allocation as necessary.

Hours are 37 ½ per week worked on varying shifts over five days between Sunday and Saturday, including regular weekends and occasional evenings. You should be able to offer a flexible approach to working days and times.

We are looking for an enthusiastic assistant to join the Sales team at our Downtown Grantham Garden Centre. Working primarily on the Pets department, you may also be required to cover duties on other departments as required.

You should be well presented, have good sales experience and possess excellent customer service skills. You should be numerate, PC literate and able to handle administration. The work will include the movement of stock, some of which may be very bulky. You should be well-presented, numerate and PC literate.
