Job Title: Full-Time Merchandise Planners

We have an exciting opportunity for two experienced Merchandise Planners to join our Buying and Merchandising team. Based in Boston and working in the Home and Gift division, you will deliver sales and profitability by managing and optimising the ranges through effective pre-season planning and in-season trading.

Key responsibilities of the roles include:
• Controlling stock levels by creating WSSI plans and forecasts for sales, stock and OTB and related intake.
• Managing the intake by effectively managing the supply base
• Planning department space and controlling options – ranged and bought.
• Producing range level analysis and comparisons to LY and plan.
• Supporting range planning, working alongside the Buyer to agree options counts, line ROS and volumes are within OTB limits.
• Managing markdowns and promotions, owning and controlling the net achieve margin
• Analysing weekly sales and stocks along with ROS data, to manage the replenishment of continuity lines and bestsellers.
• Driving the SPF and PPF performance of departments by analysing space and proposing actions.
• Managing and developing the Buying and Merchandising Assistant.

You will have a minimum of three years’ experience in a head office merchandising role, working alongside buyers, as well as experience of running your own department. You will have the ability to analyse data, work under pressure to meet deadlines, and work both on your own initiative and as part of a team. Good IT skills and proficiency in the use of MS Excel are a must, as is a full driving licence, as multi-site travel is a requirement of the role. Job Title: Part-Time Cook / Restaurant Assistant Oldrids Boston
Closing Date: Tuesday 5th May 2015

We are looking for an enthusiastic Cook to join the Restaurant team at our Oldrids, Boston store.

Your duties will be cooking home made meals, baking in our in-house Bakery
Departments and the production of staff meals. You will also be required to assist in other areas of the kitchen and restaurant.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in food preparation (vegetable and meat products) and/or relevant catering qualifications (City and Guilds/NVQ).

Hours will be 27.5 per week, worked on varying shifts over up to 5 days out of 7 between Sunday and Saturday, including regular evenings and weekends. Downtown Furniture Store, Boston


Job Title: Full-Time Distribution Assistant Downtown Boston
Closing Date: Wednesday 6th May 2015

We are looking to recruit a full-time Distribution / Delivery Assistant to join the team at Downtown Boston.

Stock movement - you will be required to locate and pick stock, some of which may be very bulky - will be a main requirement of the role. Other duties will include accepting deliveries and ensuring that all relevant paperwork is completed according to Company policy. Job Title: Full-Time Fitted Kitchen Consultant Downtown Grantham

We are looking for a talented salesperson with artistic flair and design ability to join the team at our Downtown Grantham store as a Fitted Kitchen Consultant.

To fulfil the requirements of this role you will ideally have previous experience of designing and selling fitted kitchens and related products. Knowledge of electrical appliances would be a particular advantage.

Primarily focussing on sales, you should be well presented and possess excellent customer service and selling skills. You should be well presented, IT literate, numerate, and able to communicate at all levels.

As you will be required to visit customers’ homes or premises to offer a design and planning service, a full driving licence is essential. Accuracy is extremely important in this area and you should be confident when carrying out administrative tasks. A good working knowledge of CAD would be beneficial.

Job Title: Full-Time Joiner / Handyperson Downtown Grantham

Due to a pending retirement we are currently seeking a Shop-Fitting Joiner / Handyperson to join the maintenance team at our Downtown Grantham site.

Most of your duties will be completed in the warmth of an indoor environment and will include building maintenance and painting, as well as assisting colleagues with electrical and joinery work.

You should be well presented, literate, numerate and able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills. A full, clean driving licence is essential, as you will be expected to travel to and work at our other sites in Boston, Lincoln and Gainsborough when required. Although not essential, you will ideally be City and Guilds qualified or working towards it.
