Job Title: Full-Time Buying and Merchandise Assistant Downtown Grantham
Closing Date: Thursday 5th March 2015

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Buying and Merchandise Assistant to join our busy Buying and Merchandising team. Reporting to the Buyer and the Merchandise Planner, you will assist them in the analysis and administration of the department to deliver planned sales and profit. You will be confident and driven, with creative flair, a passion for product, and a strong background in administration.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
• Extracting data from Company systems and producing analysis reports using MS Excel and Word.
• Liaising with suppliers for updated delivery information and updating the Buyer and Merchandise Planner accordingly.
• Raising orders and communicating purchase order numbers to suppliers.
• Producing storyboard presentations for new ranges.
• Collating product details and descriptions for the website.
• Proposing replenishment requirements for the approval of the Merchandise Planner.

You should be literate, numerate, highly organised, and able to work both on your own initiative and as part of a team. A thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint is essential.

Based in Grantham, this is a full-time vacancy of 38.75 hours per week over 5 days (normally Monday to Friday). You should be able to offer a flexible approach to working days, as you may occasionally be required to work on a Saturday or Sunday.

Job Title: Full-Time Merchandise Planners Head Office, Oldrids Boston
Closing Date: Tuesday 10th March 2015

We have an exciting opportunity for two experienced Merchandise Planners to join our Buying and Merchandising team. Based in Boston and working in the Homewear and Gift department, you will deliver planned sales and profitability by managing and optimising the brands through effective planning and in-season trading.

Key responsibilities of the roles include:
• Creating WSSI plans and forecasts for sales, stock and intake.
• Managing the intake and OTB to deliver the stock requirements of the business.
• Planning department space and controlling options – ranged and bought.
• Supporting range planning, working alongside the Buyer to agree line ROS and volumes are within OTB limits.
• Producing range analyses and comparisons to LY and plan.
• Managing markdowns and promotions, and owning and controlling the net achieve margin, producing net margin analyses.
• Analysing weekly sales and stocks along with ROS data, to manage the replenishment of core and continuity lines and bestsellers.
• Driving the SPF and PPF performance of departments by analysing space and proposing actions.
• Helping to manage and develop the Buying and Merchandising Assistant.

You should be literate and numerate with the ability to analyse data, possess strong administrative skills, be capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines and able to work both on your own initiative and as part of a team. Good IT skills and proficiency in the use of MS Excel and Word are a must, as is a full driving licence, as multi-site travel is a requirement of the role. Job Title: Full-Time Apprentice Cook Oldrids Boston
Closing Date: Tuesday 10th March 2015

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Apprentice Cook / Restaurant Assistant to join the team at our Oldrids Boston store.

Your duties will include helping to prepare meals, bakery products and staff meals, as well as assisting in other areas of the kitchen and restaurant.

The contract will be for a fixed-term of up to one year during which you will be required to complete an Intermediate Level Apprenticeship. Extension of the employment contract and further study support may be considered dependent on performance and the business requirement at the time.

Hours will be 35 per week, worked on varying shifts over 5 days between Sunday and Saturday, including regular evenings and weekends. You should be able to offer a flexible approach to working times and days.

Job Title: Part-Time Accounts Office Assistant Downtown Boston

A vacancy has arisen for a part-time assistant to join the Accounts Office team at our Downtown Boston store.

The main duties of the role are completing general administrative duties, processing customer payments, customer service to both internal and external contacts, filing and operating the telephone.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service skills, be PC literate, numerate and accurate. Experience in a customer facing environment and administration is preferred, although not essential.

Job Title: Full-Time Joiner / Handyperson Downtown Grantham

Due to a pending retirement we are currently seeking a Shop-Fitting Joiner / Handyperson to join the maintenance team at our Downtown Grantham site.

Most of your duties will be completed in the warmth of an indoor environment
and will include building maintenance and painting, as well as assisting
colleagues with electrical and joinery work.

You should be well presented, literate, numerate and able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills. A full, clean driving licence is essential, as you will be expected to travel to and work at our other sites in Boston, Lincoln and Gainsborough when required. Although not essential, you will ideally be City and Guilds qualified or working towards it.

Hours will be 38.75 per week, worked on a 5 days out of 7 basis between Sunday and Saturday, including occasional weekends, evenings and bank holidays. You should be able to offer a flexible approach to working days and times, being available to work varying days and additional hours if required.

Job Title: Full-Time Fitted Kitchen Consultant Downtown Grantham

We are looking for a talented salesperson with artistic flair and design ability to join the team at our Downtown Grantham store as a Fitted Kitchen Consultant.

To fulfil the requirements of this role you will ideally have previous experience of designing and selling fitted kitchens and related products. Knowledge of electrical appliances would be a particular advantage.

Primarily focussing on sales, you should be well presented and possess excellent customer service and selling skills. You should be well presented, IT literate, numerate, and able to communicate at all levels.

As you will be required to visit customers’ homes or premises to offer a design and planning service, a full driving licence is essential. Accuracy is extremely important in this area and you should be confident when carrying out administrative tasks. A good working knowledge of CAD would be beneficial.
